Welcome to the Standish Dog Trainer! I provide one-to-one training for you and your dog in your own home around Wigan and Standish. I also run dog training classes and puppy training classes in Standish on most Saturday mornings. Having worked with dogs for many years, in many roles from puppy training to re-homing unwanted dogs, I now want to help people make the most of the relationship that they have with their dogs. I firmly believe that with my gentle reward based training methods, consistency and determination, there is no problem that we cannot solve. Give me a call and let's see how I can help.

Sarah began work with Standish Dog Trainer, assisting in dog obedience classes in Sept 2007. Sarah has a calm gentle approach that wins over dogs and their owners. Sarah’s knowledge and understanding of the way dogs learn has grown considerably and she continues to be a valuable member of the Standish Dog Trainer Team. Sarah is owned by her English Springer Spaniel, Amber and when she is not assisting Jo she can be found walking with Amber or running her successful dog walking business in the Standish and Shevington Area.
