Dog Training > One-to-One

Time: one-hour sessions on weekday mornings or weekday evenings.

Venue: I will visit you and your dog in your own home.

Cost: £35 for an hour or £50 for 90 minutes (discounts available for multiple bookings or genuine pro-bono cases)

Let me use my reward based training methods to eliminate any unwanted habits that your dog may have, transforming him into that well mannered pooch that everyone would love to show off.

Re-call

The fear that your dog may not come back once you have let him off the lead is a really common worry for many dog owners. I can help you solve this.

Walking to heel

We have all seen people being pulled along the street behind their dogs - it can be embarrassing and of course it could be dangerous. With a little determination this is a quick and easy problem to put an end to.

Sit, Down and Stay

A bit of fun - it is great to be able to teach your dogs some little tricks - and they love to please you!

Jumping Up

Many dogs jump up, this is not a problem when they are puppies but little puppies grow into big heavy dogs. We can help to get rid of those muddy paw prints on your jumper!

Socialisation

There are lots of things in the big wide world that you and I take for granted. Socialisation is crucial to ensure that your dog is prepared for the things he will encounter when outside. Dogs can be fearful of anything that they have not seen before, from other dogs to cars to shopping bags! Lack of proper socialisation is a huge problem; it is never too late to start this.

Separation Anxiety

Dogs can be distressed or destructive when left alone, especially dogs from rescue centres. I can help you make life more positive for your dog.

Car Sickness, Fear of the Car and Safe Travel

For a dog, a journey in the car often means a trip to the vet, so it is not surprising that lots of dogs don't like to go in the car. Some dogs do suffer from travel sickness. These are easy problems to solve with a little determination. I can also advise on how to travel safely with your dog.

Advice Before Getting a New Dog

There are so many choices to make, where to get your dog from, what type of dog to get, what equipment you will need. I can give you the information that you need to get you started.

Antisocial Behaviour

If you have an issue that is not listed above, give me a call, let’s have a chat and see if I can help. I have experience in dealing with housetraining, dog to dog aggression, rescue dogs, and dogs with disabilities (such as deafness).
